Remote Control Power Functions

Calling All Future Engineers!

Hello future engineers! Cedar Wood Elementary PTA is holding 10 weeks of LEGO Power Functions classes. Thursday Mornings 8 AM to 9 AM 1/12 through 3/16 Students learn advanced engineering concepts (torque, gearing, levers, etc.) while they have a blast building remote controlled vehicles and contraptions. In this class students will be paired up and challenged to engineer and build using various LEGO® motors and Technic® parts (often of their own design) to accomplish certain tasks or compete against other teams. This is NOT a free play activity, but a class with actual lessons (regardless of how fun it is).

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math have never been so much fun!

During the course they will be learning; Teamwork Engineering Scientific Experimentation Enroll your student/s today in this challenging and engaging course that is not a “free play with LEGO®’s” or “follow these instructions” class, but a workshop of discovery and creativity.
